Originally from Vermont, I met my wife Janet while in law school at Notre Dame. We married at Notre Dame during the summer of 1984 before my final year. After spending a year in Jefferson City clerking for a judge of the Missouri Supreme Court, I took a job with a large downtown law firm. I moved to Emerson Electric’s law department in 1990 and launched my own law practice in 1996, providing legal counsel and representation to small and mid-sized, privately held business and individuals.
Janet and I have seven children, all adults now, three of whom are married, and we have 13 going on 15 grandchildren so far. In addition to being a wife, mother and grandmother, Janet is an educator, internet entrepreneur, and seamstress.
I was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate on August 29, 2020, by Archbishop Mitchell Rozanski.
