Greetings from Atlanta, GA! I hope that this finds you all very well! Above is a picture of my new Legionary community in Atlanta GA and a pic of my family and I at my diaconate ordination! You have all been in my thoughts and prayers these last months as I have arrived back in the US after 3 years of studies in Rome! I am very happy to be back stateside and to be reuniting with old friends! After my ordination to the Diaconate on
July 8th in Cheshire, CT I spent 1 month training in the new Regnum Christi Missionaries near Chicago. These are all young men giving 1 year of volunteer work to the Church. They spend their time helping the Legionary priests run youth retreats and camps all over the country. For more on this program click
here. Four of the young men are stationed with me in Atlanta! Here is a picture of us!
My main apostolic work in Atlanta is a school called Holy Spirit Prep. I spend my time helping run the youth retreats and mentoring the students at the school. So far I have just been getting to know all the students names and readjusting myself to work in a school. It has been a very beautiful experience to meet so many new people. I am excited for the years to come working at Holy Spirit! To see the schools website click
here. As well here is a great article that was written on my ordination from the school that you can find
here.
When I am not at the school I help with the Missionaries to plan weekend youth retreats and campouts! Here is a pic of our most recent Father and Son Campout in South GA! We had over 100 Dads and Sons come!
So there is only 69 days left until my priestly ordination! Please keep me in your prayers as I prepare myself. The ordination is
Dec 16th at St Paul Outside the Walls in Rome!
If you plan on attending and have not already please RSVPHERE. I know that if you cannot attend you will be praying for me!
I hope to find a moment to write more to you all soon but until them you will find me in the Eucharist! All the best you all!
